A Space Where You Feel Truly Heard

Therapy grounded in empathy, safety, and meaningful connection.

Empathy is simply listening, holding space, withholding judgement, emotionally connecting, and communicating that incredibly healing message of ‘You’re not alone.’

Hi, I’m Monta

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. I am a pre-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with a passion for supporting individuals on their journey toward greater self-awareness, healing, and growth. My aim is to offer a safe, comfortable, and non-judgemental space where you can share your thoughts and worries openly. Alongside my psychotherapy work, I am also a social care worker supporting adults with disabilities and unaccompanied minors in care. Outside of my professional roles, I enjoy walks in nature, going to the gym, and spending time with my cats.

About Therapy

Well, in a nutshell, the client talks and I listen. I provide feedback and ask additional questions to help you gain insight. Counselling is not about giving advice or diagnosing clients. A crucial part of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. This means the client feels understood and safe to share their issues with me. Research shows that the therapeutic relationship is the driving force of change. This is also a central part of most approaches in therapy, which is why my work places strong emphasis on it.

My Approach

I am an integrative psychotherapist, which means that I use multiple theories and approaches based on the client’s issues, needs, and goals. I strongly believe that every client is unique, so I aim to listen and step into their shoes to better understand how life is for them. I provide a non-judgmental and safe space for the client. Whatever the issue, I truly believe that everyone does their best with what they have and where they are at. Change can be very hard, so I fully understand and respect that everyone has their own pace in addressing these challenges.

Session Information

At the moment, I am available for online sessions only. I hope to offer face-to-face sessions in the future, but for now, this isn’t possible. Sessions are available for adults (18+) living in Ireland, in line with insurance requirements. Each session lasts 50 minutes and costs €50. I also offer a sliding scale, so if cost feels like a barrier, we can discuss an arrangement that works for you. Sessions are usually weekly, but bi-weekly can also be an option — I take a flexible approach so that together we can find what best suits your needs and schedule.
